Cicero - The Six Mistakes of Man

1 The delusion that personal gain is made by crushing others.
2 The tendency to worry about things that cannot be changed or corrected.
3 Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it.
4 Refusing to set aside trivial preferences.
5 Neglecting development and refinement of the mind, and not acquiring the habit of reading and studying.
6 Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do.

Super Bowl XLIV Sunday

How much did I eat today?

I don’t even want to know. :P

January 13th, 2010 Food

Since I went from exercising 15 minutes every other day to daily, one-hour, fast-paced walking overnight, there may be an increase in the number of calories over the next…undefined period of time.

● 4 cups (3 servings) Publix Apple Cinnamon Toasted Oats cereal (360 calories)
● 5 cups (5 servings) Publix 2% Reduced Fat Milk (630 calories)
● Four cups tap water
● Amy’s Asian Noodle Stir-fry (290 calories)

Total: 1300 calories

Whew. Sorry for the break in posting; I’ve been moving into uni and still have yet to get my Internet set up!

So while I’m still at my old apartment:

● Ham, American cheese, and mayonnaise foot-long sub from Subway (~600 calories)
● Five cups tap water
● 2 cups (2 servings) Froot Loops cereal (240 calories)

Total: ~840 calories

January 4th, 2010 Food

● One cup (1 serving) Food Lion 2% Reduced Fat Milk (130 calories)
● 2 cups (2 servings) Cheerios cereal (200 calories)
● 1½ cups (2 servings) Cap’n Crunch’s Peanut Butter Crunch cereal (220 calories)
● Three cups tap water
● Less than half of ham, American cheese, and mayonnaise foot-long sub from Subway (~250 calories?)
● Two granola bars (1 serving) (180 calories)

Total: ~980 calories

I am losing more and more weight. I went to my doctor yesterday and got a pleasing result for my actual weight (since my scale at home is about 3-5 pounds off), and it reported that I am about 4 pounds less than I thought I was. Quite exciting. :)

New Year’s Eve Party Food

(I forgot to mention that I also had 1½ cups of Peanut Butter Capn Crunch with one cup of milk yesterday afternoon.)

So last night I went to a New Year’s party. My eating habits were terrible during it due to several reasons, but despite that:

● 1½ servings of Lay’s Wavy Original chips
● 1½ serving of Tostito’s Baked Scoops
● One cupcake without frosting
● One mini sausage with bacon
● About 5 whole Cheetos

New Year’s Eve Breakfast

I am starting a list with what I eat each day that will be updated to the best of my ability (except maybe when I’m on vacation and such, etc. blahblah) simultaneously with/for my friend Tabitha. I will list the product, how much of it I ate (keep in mind this will be an estimation since I don’t actually measure out what I eat), and its nutrition facts according to http://www.fatsecret.com/ (it seems to have the most accurate and updated labels compared to what it really says on the box). Here, for example, is the meal I am finishing up right now:
